Does anyone use these? I saw one in the bss and remember that someone a while back said they used a toothbrush for the edges. Do you think these are safer for the hair? Do you think they will break my edges off or are they better than using a regular brush?

As long as the bristles are soft I don't see a problem with it. Boar bristles are good because they're natural, not as harsh on the hair as nylon or other hard materials, and the distribute your natural oils from your scalp to through the length of your hair.

I use a toothbrush on my edges!

It's the only brush I use on my hair and I love it! I now use a full head soft bristle toothbrush and it works wonders on my edges. It's nice and gentle and gets the job done too. :yep:

I already have like 5 boar bristle brushes...Do you think that I should get one of the boar bristle toothbrushes also? I'm a bit of a product junkie (it's gotten to the point where the bss offered me a job Friday) but I really think this might be a good product. I figured that I could soak it in S-Curl and then in the mornings take it out of the soak and brush my edges down. I can't do this with a regular brush bc I dont want my regular brushes to be full of S-Curl.
