aha, this is the thought i had a few days back. i usuallllly, use the protein side of things, but now i have discovered how slippery and moist my hair stays (airdrying) after using moisture DC and leave in. my hair is definately dryer when using blowdryers, so next time i will use moisture for the simple fact that my hair is stronger when straight ANYWAY but dryer. ON THE OTHER HAND my hair is tough and durable when i use a light protein conditioner (MNT) as a leave in. so maybe try getting a mixture of both. a moisture DC then use a leave in strengthener (MNT is good for blowdrying)...hope this helps! i can never make descisions with my hair, i just jump at the last minute.
That does sound good and is my reasoning as well. I usually use moisture before using heat, and then the next wash I like to use protein to add back in some strength, following with a good moisturizing deep cond. as well.
