Can any tell me everything that I will need to do my own blow out, Please keep in mind that my hair is 90 percent natural!

I don't have any special technic with the blow dryer, I just make sure my hair is totally detangled, sectioned off,
then with a wide tooth comb I start the dryer as I pass the comb through.
I used to use a hard plastic brush holding the hair taut, but it puts too much heat for an extended period of time, so that's a rare thing anymore.
Generally I just use the dryer to get it to the wet/dry conversion point, then start pulling it taut so it will lay smooth.
Then I use the flat iron- either the marcel or the plug in ceramic, which I'm not as impressed with the level of smoothness as the marcel, it is quicker to just get it smoothed out, then pull it back and throw a bandana on it and it takes care of itself.
No real skill, or magic trick, just works for me, even though I haven't used any heat for a few weeks now!

My hair is 100% natural for the last 7 or 8 years, and a mix of 2,3 and 4- b&c if any of that helps.
Here's a link to another thread on blow outs, perhaps it will give better tips.

One more thing- I know this is like sacrelidge (sp?) but I don't put anything at all on my hair for the blow out or pressing, it seems to give me better results that way as far as softness and movement.

At the moment not much.. I'm not ione for the overload of products- don't like to fuss with it, so I just use Giovanni Tea Tree Triple Treat shampoo and then either Pantene Pro V Color Revival conditioner as a rinse out (as it's intended) or L'Oreal nature's therapy perfect curls as a rinse out (not as it's intended), and whichever I rinnse out- the other is a leave in. With the Pantene, I mix it with Proclaim natural 7 oil and since I haven't been using any heat, I twist the hair into bantus with the leave in on and leave it like that all day and only take them down to re-do them. If I go somewhere that the style isn't appropriate, I take them down and pull it back with a beaded headband with the resulting curls flowing free and then get home and twist them back up!
I am loooww maintenence with the hair!
