BLOW OUT KIT? ANYONE USE THIS INSTEAD OF A RELAXER? I HAVE USED THIS ON MY SONS HAIR IN THE PAST. BUT I WANTED TO KNOW IF ANYONE OF YOU USED THIS FOR YOUR HAIR....SO THAT IT'S NOT TEXLAXED BUT NOT AS STRAIGHT. ANYONE? Hers a link

I JUST TALK TO MY MOM AND SHE SAID BACK IN THE DAY SOME PEOPLE GOT IT AND IT IS A CHEMICAL. IT WAS USED TO ACHIEVE AN AFRO BUT A NICE TEXTURED,MANAGEABLE AFRO.

OMG They still make blow out kits :O - Get outta here I haven't seen one of these since the 70's. Back when everyone wanted the "Angela Davis" fro that would blow in the wind LOLOLOL guuurrrrl thanks for the blast to the past... dag nab it, a blow out. Telling my age but I remember that commercial LOLOL the hair grease was just fancy green vaseline. LOL You got my sides hurting here ....... and I had those cornrows too LOLOL

Oh and it will straighten if you leave it on to long. I remember many, many fro's with straight spider minkey ends.

Sooo...do you think I could use this the next time I touch instead of a relaxer...to get that natural look without going natural? Mom says this is not a texturizer.That it's used for Afro's and that you can comb through it but not as well as combing through as if you had a relaxer...IDK. maybe I should take this to the natural board but I don't want to start a riot because "it's not natural".

This will relax the curl, but not really get it to a wave or anything. Remember leave it on to long and ..... you'll get this look
