Blow Dryer Advice

I am ready to trade in or dump my 10 year old Gold N' Hot for a new model, but have no idea where to start.

When I go to the store I see ceramic, tourmaline, ionic . . . DUH?

Can you tell me your brand/model, what you recommend, or what to avoid, different settings, how you use it, how hot it gets, attachments, where to buy, suggested price, etc.?

Thanks. Man hair technology has changed. Imagine what kinds of devices we will have in 10 years!!!

I have this one and I love it. I had to get a universal comb attachment for it. The comb flies off if you don't hold it while drying which is a pain but it's a great dryer. I wish I would've gotten it sooner. No more hard hair when blowdrying. I got it off of ebay for a great price. Folica.com has it too.

As long as its an ionic dryer: than ur ok. Like hooded dryers: they say the ions in ionic dryers (brand doesn't matter really) dries the hair faster and leaves it shiny and silky. Thats an A+ to me.

Just a few days ago I mentioned to my mother that I am interested in purchasing a good quality blow dryer. I have read positive reviews on the model posted here, and is what I am contemplating as my purchase.
