i cant believe what he said!!!that made me mad because that is so untrue.im black.....and i have natural waistlength hair.....what he said is so far from the truth...granted,yes,i have a lil vanella in my blood..grandpa was whit/cacasion...grandma was black/indian.....my hair took mor of a looser pattern but guess what?ive seen some whites with nappy hair.short hair,damaged hair...etc...that man made me mad!!!that lunitic...oh and you see how he said is was unacceptable to wear dreads.....he was so wrong............................sounding like a fake chris rock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I believe he was saying that black women see dreads and natural hair as unacceptable. He has another video where he talks about how black women shouldn't relax their hair and wear it natural.

No.......I thing he was talking with tongue in cheek about the dreads cause he wears long dreads!!!! And he said black women can grow their hair long. He also said black women can grow their hair long. I thought I was listening really carefully. In fact I listened to several of his videos and he was spot on with a lot of what he said. There was a little too much profanity in these clips for my taste, but I have to be honest, I’m not mad at this guy. There are a lot of people (male and female) who believe that white women are the standard by which other women should be judged. It might not be you (or your man), but there really ARE people who embody everything he talks about. I also didn’t get the impression that he feels black women can’t grow long hair (he said several times that we can with natural hair) or that he has an issue with us straightening our hair (he talks about people using flat irons). The truth is, he’s venting about black women the same way that a lot of black women vent about black men. It’s just one man’s opinion.

He'd like to pretend what he's saying makes sense, or in his words "is logical".
He makes it seem like black women straighten their hair as a consequence of black men going for other women and as a why to try to bring him back. Black women were straightening their hair before all of that started happening. Black women were straightening their hair back women a black man would be killed for even looking at a white woman. So his time line is a little messed up there.
Also, he claims that black men don't alter themselves to look "more white as he put it? Four words. Conk. Jherri curl. Texturizer. I really don't understand why black woman have been made to take the brunt of the criticism on this.
He really needs to read more books on this subject and stop yelling. Seriously, why yell when you already have a microphone?
I'm going to add a few more of these for good measure

Personally, I listened to the message that is meant to provoke thought and self critique. I know this is especially hard for black women to be 'critiqued' by a black man at all, or by anyone. I think we are very 'sensitzed and sensitive ' in those areas.
I think he was saying in a deep down way
THAT BLACK WOMEN ARE "ALRIGHT" WITHOUT....the radical changes to their skin and hair
That BLACK WOMEN do not need to KEEP PROVING SOMETHING....just accept themselves and their natural attributes and bring out the best in that.
I also and on this I agree that... We need to stop getting ourselves in a knot to the extent that we do not hear the positive message contained within the critique. We get angry and miss that OR FEEL that because what the person had to say was so critical in some areas that we want to kill the messenger. Just my opinion.

Though he makes some semi/sorta/twisted decent points in this video, he has some other videos that makes me think he is a misogynistic self hating Negro, talking about how he doesn't want to date Black women--we are too loud, too fat, too ugly, and have too much weave, so HE actually is making White women the standard. Booooombaaaclaat!!
