Yes, I did, basically, she tells you that you have to get your hair moisturised, she trims her hair every month. The various combs, she used, and she lightly perms her hair. Some of her advice, I found helpful, but I think the method, that works for me, is keeping my hair moisturised, I trim every two months, and I use castor oil on my roots.

I purchased her report about a year ago, and I dont have anything bad to say about it. I found alot of the stuff that's in the report, right here on this forum for free. She talks about cliiping your ends w/ SSOTP (sharperst scissors on the planet) and making sure you trim a week or so before a relaxer, so that your hair wont act-out from doing the trim after. I'm not sure what she meant by that. She lightly relaxes w/ a lye relaxer, and only uses W I D E tooth combs. Thats all I can think of at this point but when I think of something else I post it

I think the "report" came out in 1997. She was ahead of her time when it came to "no grease", washing with conditioner and using regular conditioner as a leave-in. She even has a section called "Water is Our Friend".

She suggests shampooing every 3-5 days. But she lost me when she started talking about trimming the hair every month.

She tells you to part your hair from ear to ear. Then trim 1/4" off the back section and 1/2" off the front section. Every month.

Unless your hair grows really fast (3/4" or more per month), I don't understand how you would see any growth.

And she mentions all the great styles you'll be able to wear with this haircut. I'm picturing MC Lyte circa 1989...

I think I will stick to the advice on this board (free!) and I already have Cathy Howse's Book-that's more than enough information.

It's at blackwomenrejoice.com

She's updated the site since I've seen it last. She's a pretty lady! The pictures were a little grainy before... That shiny hair bouncing and blowing in the wind is going to sell a lot of booklets.

I agree--you're better off getting the free info from this board.

i bought this in 2000. it was okay, but i've learned much more from the hair boards. if you're curious, get over it... save your money!!

Yes, I have this one. She said she researched this over 40 years! She looks very pretty and much younger than her age must be.

I thought she said something about water not being good for our hair unless we're washing your hair. I'll have to look at my report again.

Thanks ladies, for saving me before PJism even got a chance to set in.

I ordered this report around 1999 and it was about 7-8 dollars back then. I didn't agree with a lot of the things she said. Especially about trimming the hair every month. I also felt that in her pics she was hunching over to make her hair appear longer. I though she was a fraud.

I went back to her website and I am wondering why after six years on her program that her hair is not waistlength or longer. Many ladies on this board have grown waistlength hair in much shorter time than 6 years. Go figure.

I wouldn't waste my 20 bucks on it. The information on this board is free and much more valuable and useful!

Just my 2 cents!

It's twenty bucks???? Man I bought it for 8 dollars. Must be upping the prices due to inflation.

The information she has on the report is really 4 pages about how her hair was short, and then 2 good pages about what to do (No Grease, cut with SSOTP sharpest scissors on the planet, don't let anyone else use those scissors for anything else, cut 1/2 off every month, blowdry, don't use curling irons all the time). Then the rest of the report comprises of testemonials.

This guide is a good one for ladies who always want to wear their hair down, because you will most likely have to cut due to some raggedy ends.

Probably because of all that trimming. And I think she blow dries after every shampoo.
