Hi ladies I am posting this twitter of a woman who invited to be a model for Carol's Daughter whom shared her experience about that and when she attended a Shea Moisture booth.

The below is a response to the commentary made in twitter

Has anyone noticed this by attending of this beauty/hair expos.

No I have not noticed but what I have noticed with Shea Moisture and Target is that they have Shea Moisture hair care products in two different sections. They have a section in the "black" hair products aisle. They also have a section in the "white" hair products aisle. The Shea Moisture's lines were different in each section.

Ok wait. It's a shame about CD really. Before she opened up her brick and mortar store her products were amazing! I knew once they got their teeth into her company it would go down hill. Everyone that used her products noticed it. Shea moisture may have done it better to include the "others" by expanding and reformulating for other textures but they better tread lightly. We already despise a change in anything if it was originally for us.

I understand it's all about money but don't the straighter textures have enough out there? Before the natural hair care industry exploded we were running around trying to find products from their lines that we hoped would work but you didn't see them expanding to include us and what not until the trend was noticed.

To not have women of color at the expo at those booths was plain stupid.
