Ok, I have been reading post after post and this subject keeps coming up. What is Biotin? Is it something already in a multi vitamin or should it be purchased seperately?

Most people purchase it seperately. It usually comes in 1 mg tablets. Or 1000 mcg tablets.
Different brands that people use are Freeda and Puritans Pride. I just use the Walmart Spring valley brand. Others use the Target ones.

Biotin is a b-vitamin that aids in hair growth, especially when taken with a b-complex vitamin.

How is the Spring valley working for you? I have been taking 5 mg for more then a month and I did not get the great result that I got from the Sundown brand, But just 4 days ago I started taking 8mg of the spring valley and my nails are growing fast, I am down to less then 4 pills so I will take 2 mg for the next 2 days
, But it has affected my nail growth when I increased the dose,I will buy about 2 more bottles at walmart there so cheap, and I want my nails to grow, How is it going for anyone useing sundown or spring valley biotin?

I found twinlabs(amino acids), and solgar(biotin), that was all, I still have not seen freeda biotin, but I think I will go on a save at pp, sale

You can get Freeda at Kosher Vitamins. I ordered it from there and it came pretty fast. Good Luck!!!

Happy Bday Pretty girl, I really belive in Biotin, but now that I have my Bcomplex I think I will be more happy
, I think it helps with growth, of hair and nails, does anyone see a change in skin from taking biotin, I dont mean breakouts
