BIOLAGE??

Biolage balm conditioner is very good. A little goes a long way towards moisturizing the hair. But now I am using Suave biobasics which is the Biolage knockoff and it works just as well. I leave it on for 15 minutes under the dryer. You get a huge container for a fraction of the Biolage price.

Well, I broke down and bought some Matrix Biolage Ultra Hydrating balm. It was aaight, but it did not live up to all the hype. I was very disappointed to say the least, and it's expensiveto buy on a consistent basis. My hair was not as moisturized as all the reviews suggested it would be and the only reason I even say it's aaight is because it felt heavenly in the shower. I give it a huge NAY!... However, I may be tempted to try this Suave biobasics Candiss is raving about:look: :)

IS THIS STUFF ANY GOOD??? PLEASE TELL ME SOME PROS AND CONS ABOUT THIS PRODUCT!!!

I have used the Biolage Conditioning Balm and something else from them I can't recall....total waste of money in my opinion. did nothing for me :(

The conditioning balm is pretty good.
I used to be in LOVE with their hair masque it really grew hair, im not sure what the heck was in it, but now its discontinued :(.

Any other reviews? I am looking for an extra moisturizing conditioner for daily conditioning and deep moisturizing conditioning.

Thanks

The detangler is the best i've ever used. Love the conditioning balm also.

I used to use Biolage ultra balm, but I now use Aveda Elixir daily leave-on conditioner and my hair really likes it. Also another good leave-in is Lanz'a Urban Elements light daily leave-in conditioner.

I need a good detangler for my daughter- what is the name of their detangler? I am not familiar.

I told my helper, here at the office when she was pregnant and overdo. What da husband needed to do and she went into labor that night, afterwards. I told her to let him get it because 6 weeks is a long time to wait.

I have been using some products on my daughter's THICK kinky/curly hair and yesterday while combing through it I noticed small hair chips on her shirt. She is 100% natural. So with that - I feel lack of moisture must be the culprit. I can't wash her hair daily but I do spritz it with an herbal spritz Bublnbrnsuga shared with me. I have also been using CD's Marguerite's Magic and Tui Oil on her hair which is fine but her hair is still dry in the back. Sooo I need a conditioner and leave-in that is probably more moisturizing than mine.

Imagine she plays out side daily in the heat with direct sun hitting her head which also contributes to drying it out. Plus she sweats daily from playing outside and so I just need something EXTRA moisturizing for her. Biolage is one product I have used before on her and once I ran out I moved on to other products but I never tried the ultra hydrating balm or the leav-in tonic. I need a moisturizing tonic for her!!

I like the conditioners but hate the poos.

The conditioners are luscious and leave your hair feelin yummy but the shampoos seem too harsh.

Girl we been working on it trust me. This baby isn't having it. My hubby was like "oh I will knock him loose". The baby was like "I ain't going no where". LOL

Yeah the shampoos have SLS in them and back to back in some of them like Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, and then the next ingredient will be Sodium Laureth Sulfate. My hair ain't oily so that is definitely a no go! But the conditioners are thick and creamy and smell delicious.

I am in love with the Ultra Hydrating Balm. It leaves my hair so soft and moisturized for days. After I use it, I don't even need a leave-in condish. ;)

Then THAT is what I need for my daughter's thick kinky/curly hair!!!!

Which of the biolage products did you try and not like? I would avoid the shampoo -it is loaded with sulfates.

Biolage Ultra Hydrating Shampoo - LOVE IT - it is the only product that I can use to get a comb through my hair to detangle. I've tried to find cheaper alternatives, but this seems to be the only shampoo that my hair likes.

Biolage Ultra Hydrating Balm - Very good conditioner, but very little slip. I was able to replace it with NTM Hair mask.

Biolage Fortifying Shampoo/cons and Biolage Bodifying Shampoo/con - decent shampoo, I use it when my hair needs a little protein, but once I run out, these can be replaced by the cheaper Main and Tail poo/con.

Biolage gelee- didn't do anything for my hair - returned to store.

Biolage Leave in tonic - watery. watery on my natural hair is a no-no returned to store

Biolage Curl defining cream - fine while it was wet on the hair. When my hair dried I had a fuzzy halo going on midway through the day - returned to store.

Biolage Defining elixer - see Biolage Curl defining cream

Because I love the shampoo so much I was willing to give the whole line a try, but I wouldn't repurchase anything other than the shampoo again.
HTH

The shampoos seem to have so many sulfates I am surprised they are truly mositurizing. I like Elucence too much and definitely plan to stick to that.

DevaCare No Poo and One Conditioner are pretty decent but I am using so much of that stuff on a regular basis I am almost done w/ the bottle in about 3 weeks.
