BIG HAIR tips please

so been drooling over tumbler images of big hair pics I want this now!

Lol ok I know its mainly length that helps but any tips would help me fake the funk

This is what I do when I want a big bodacious twist-out
Twist out tips:
1. unravel twists
2. carefully separate each twist without creating frizz
3. with a hair pick - pick out only the roots
4. shake hair
5. finger style hair

As a protective style: crochet braids.

I'm relaxed but I'm rocking my big curly Afro like no mans business...
