So ive finally decided to invest in a full lace wig. After almost over a years worth of contemplation im taking the plunge. since this is a huge investment for me i need yall's help. Any help at all!! anyone who knows of a place to order a quality custom unit, along with any tips while wearing PLEASE respond here.:prettyplease: I have never worn a full wig so send ur info and support.

Take your self over to blackhairmedia.com. They have a LF section and LF section for newbies. I would dive in and just read up on everything. And then I would start asking questions. Also should be able to find a list of vendors over there. I think many of them order straight from the Chinese Vendors, good luck with your decision. I just remembered something I did buy one Human lace wig- from an ebay vendor Growing Upscale Hair- I loved that wig. It looked like true AA relaxed hair. The only thing is that I never had intentions of gluing it to my forehead so I turned it into a half wig.

Hopefully there will be someone else here that can help.

Thanks gurl. You're always so helpful:yawn:. BTW what do you think was the number 1 thing that help you thicken up your hair?

^^^^^ Self Styled (Hiya, doll), the wig forum rules on Black Hair Media said you could not post a question unless you have posted 100 response posts in other threads. I also tried to register, but the site wouldn't let me.

OP, have you practiced application on a cheaper synthetic lace wig, or even on a lacefront? My worry would be buying an expensive human hair full lace without knowing if you can apply it. I am an uncoordinated type who's not crafty or good with my hands, and I can barely put on a half wig, much less apply a lace wig!

yankee, i havent but i have a friend who hads been wearing them for years, she has agreed to apply it for me but the site she was buying them from is no longer up so im on my own there.

While on BHM, check out info on a silk top monotop wig. Lanik's hair is an american vendor who sells them fairly priced.

I love my unit. The Aveda school layered her just like my avi.

I think they have a big thread for all newbies to ask questions (instead of starting one)

Girl, make sure you research, research, research. It's so many vendors that are shady these days and alot of the good american vendors are not in business anymore or are quite pricey. BHM newbie lacefront section should allow you to post I think.

My hair thickened up after I stopped weaving. Weaving left the ends of my hair sooooo thin:nono:. I would grow and then cut, until I got rid of those ends.
