Can someone recommend a shampoo that will soften and detangle my hair? My beloved Keracare hydrating poo is no longer doing the trick. TIA.

I love my Elucence moisturizing shampoo. I also use their clarifying shampoo. I mostly do conditioner washes. Once a week I will wash my hair. I use Aveda Sap Moss shampoo. I also use Aubrey Organics Blue Camomile Hydrating Shampoo.

I also use Elucence Moisturizing shampoo along w/ their clarifying one

Well i have several faves: a shampoo concentrate(HEB-plus)- got this at www.thechemistrystore.com- also got the vitamin fortified conditioner concentrate there

Aussie works great on my hair

CON- the bottle with the green and white writing on it

Joico's Biojoba shampoo and Altima Conditioner

I add liquid aloe vera to my conditioners and that helps too.

Key words, CLARIFY. Do you need to? I know that when my favorite conditioners aren't working, it's time for a clarify wash. Now I am a no to low pooer, so when I clarify I will use acv or lemon juice w/ water. It does the trick every time. Sometimes my hair just needs a heavier conditioner, but most of the time, to clarify really works. I have learned something in all my pjism, and 3+ yrs of being natural though too, the products that people say are the best, or what their "regimine" is doens't always work for me either:ohwell: Well good luck to you on your journey. Let us know if you find something that works out for you too!:D

I personally like Castile soap, but the advice about clarifying is good advice. If you have found what works, you may want to stick with it.

When I was natural I used cream of nature, It was great for my hair specially to detangle the hair while rincing the shampoo out.
But I still use CON. I love it

I'm a natural with really thick, rather dry hair. Here's what does wonders for me:

Aubreys Organics - Any version (yellow label) for dry brittle hair is good but my favorite is White Cameilla Ultra smoothing. It gives SUPER sleekness and shine. The trick to Aubrey's products is that you must use their shampoos and conditioners together to get the full benefits.

Creme of Nature, green label - I still have withdrawals of missing this shampoo since dropping parabens. If you're not on the all natural kick the way that I am, CON is definitely the way to go! Mix their nourishing conditioner (purple label) with olive oil and let it sit on your hair before shampooing and you'll be amazed at the results.

HTH

I use shampoo only every other week. When I do it's a clarifying shampoo by Suave or CON (Green label). I conditioner wash every other week. :yep:

I get my glycerin from there and I saw that, glad you mentioned this I may just try those 2 next time I place an order with them

just adding that I tried the DDTA shampoo for the 1st time the other day and it's definitely a keeper for me

I agree with those who said clarify. whenever your hair products seem to stop working try that first.

but to answer the question...

-Pantene Purity Clarifying Shampoo  (diluted)
-Aussie Moist (old formula is better than the new)
-Dr Bronners Baby Mild Castile soap (the liquid kind, diluted)
-Aubrey Organics Green Tea Clarifying shampoo (diluted)
-Aveda Sap Moss
-Aveda Rosemary Mint
-Aveda Scalp Benefits
