I am looking for a serum b/c alot of you on the boards use them. I need to know your opinions on which one you prefer and what benefits you have noticed since using it?? If yall culd help me it would be greatly appreciated. I know I can count on my LHCF sisters.

TIA

~For my wet/damp hair I like to use John Frieda's Relax Texture Correcting Serum or St. Ive's Hair Repair No-Frizz Serum. They both instantly smooth my hair and give it a nice gloss. Now, the John Frieda may be hard to find because it's been discontinued, but it's still available at a few online spots.

~On my dry hair I like to use NTM Healing Shine Serum or Alfaparf Illuminating Shine Serum. They're both very light and great for sealing my ends and adding shine without weighing my hair down. HTH!:)

i use john frieda's frizz ease xtra strength serum on wet hair and ntm shine serum on dry hair.
HTH

i use the john frieda serum on wet and dry hair. if you cant find the one from the relax line, you should try the one from the normal line....extra strength

I have tons of serums. My favorites are Kerastase, Aveda Brilliant and NTM healing shine serum. NTM gives the best bang for the buck and is the only products out of that entire line that I like.

If I was a billionaire, I would use Kerastase all the time, but, because I am not, I will be sticking to NTM once I finish all my serums, LOL.

I dont use John Frieda extra strength because it contains mineral oil and that dries my hair out.

THanks everybody!!! Keratase where did you get that from and what is the price (since you said if you were a billionaire). WHo makes this what line I mean?

I really like megahertz hi: gloss serum. i looked at the John Freida but it was way to expensive in my opinion. i've only used mega hertz on dry hair but it works great...nice shine and locks in moisture for the entire day. :)

Alfaparf Semi Di Lino is the best and most expensive I ever use give great shine and does not way hair down.
Redken Heat Glide the best for flat ironing the flat iron just glides through my hair.
NTM serum for every day use.

I am currently using Silk Elements serum.

NTM serum is pretty popular here. I don't use it but you can do a search on it.

I honestly believe that all of the serums are the same.

I use Fantasia shine gloss for color treated and damaged hair. I use it on wet and dry hair. Its comes in a blue bottle for about $5.99.

You can find Kerastase at any fancy pharmacy or BSS in my area, but I am not sure about other parts of the country. That stuff is great. It has really good oils in it, but it costs about $30-$40 for a small bottle. I told you it was necessary to be a billionaire to use it, LOL!

NTM shine serum and Biosilk serum are the ones I use on wet or dry hair.

Cosigning on the Alfaparf Semi Di Lino - I use it on dry hair.

The John Freida is good on wet hair too!

I believe the brand that I used a while ago was called Serum from Smooth & Shine" I really like this stuf!

I like John Frieda Frizz Ease. I use it on dry hair or wet hair before I blow dry. I've used Smooth and shine as well as St Ives nd the avon serum . I prefer the John Frieda which I've used for about 9 years now. They also have different strengths.

i've used several different ones, but my favorite is still Avon Dry Ends Serum. i've used it for years.

I remember you put everyone on to that! I loved that stuff, until they changed the scent :-( I remember when I last used it, I had an avon lady find all the old bottles she could and bought them all.

Im always back and forth with different serums. But right now Im using African Royale diamond drops- you can get it at Sally's.
