Hey yall,

I am getting a sew-in done on Saturday with Saga Gold Remy Human Hair Yaky (I'm not ready for that extensions-plus hair yet or Halley's Curls, but they will be future buys). I'm excited b/c this is my first sew in.

I am reading and soaking up info on how to take care of my hair. This will be fun for me!

A lot of sites are saying that you have to use Redken/Paul Mitchell products on high-quality sew in hair.

Do you agree? What do you use on your high-quality sew-in hair?

Or, do you use any products at all?

I wish I knew all I wear is Curly sew-ins, but I think those products sound ok. Just don't use anything to cheap!

I don't think you need to purchase special poos and conditioners for your weave. You can use the same products you use on your real hair...that's what I did.

ETA: I used Extentions Plus for my weave and I shampooed with CON and DC with ORS Replenishing Conditioner and the weave was just fine. I'm actually thinking about pulling my hair out and getting another sew-in.
