So I love my scalp to tingle. After trying many stimulating products they just didn't do it for me like Cathy Howse conditioner. Or keracare itchy scalp. I just want a cheaper alternative

Peppermint oil is a great idea, and a great way to add a bit extra to cheapie products, I add it to my Hello Hydrations for co-washes.

Yes, I second on the giovanni triple treat shampoo. I've never tried the conditioner.

thanks for the ideas, I get a little worried about mixing essential oils in the conditioners because I know I have to add a carrier oil first...... I think I going to look for this giovonni, especially since I keep hearing about thier leave in.

4mia, The carrier "Would" be the conditioner, basically another term for dilutant! You just can't use it alone, that would most likely cause a problem!
But I'm cosigning with a previous poster, the "Trade Joe's" Tea Tree Tingle has Peppermint and Tea Tree Oils, and it tingles like nobodys business! It's all natural, organic, sulfate-free anddd $2.99 to boot, can't beat that! :yep:

4mia, I'm not quite sure, but I don't believe so! Check their website, you can also search the store locator to see where the nearest one is. It's funny cause I used to have to drive 45 minutes to get to the nearest one, and after the 2nd trip they opened one up about 15 minutes from me, it was like they read my mind!
But in any case I hope you can get your hands on some, its really good stuff! :yep:

The only ones I have used that give te cool and tingling sensation are Nioxin system 3 poo and cond and Nu expressions Scalp-Ale therapeutic shampoo. When I used both of those I could not wash my hair with the air conditioner on because my head would feel so cold:lol:

Giovanni & trader joe's only tingled the first 1 or 2 times for me then it went away... I hear nioxin is good or I also like hairever 1 it tingles every time as a prepoo

Have you tried Dr. Bronner's magic peppermint castile soap for tingling shampoo? Its a nice bodywash. I never used Bronner's citrus shikakai conditioner. http://www.drbronner.com/index.html

You can also buy tea tree oil and add a few drops to your conditioner, shampoo, pre-poo or moisturizer. I have added few drops of tea tree oil to pre-poos and moisturizer and my scalp was very happy. HTH

Suave naturals has an Aveda knockoff the rosemary mint. And of course the original Aveda rosemary mint will give you a tingle.

Basically you wanna look for shampoos/conditioners that prominently feature rosemary, mint, eucalyptus, tea tree oil, peppermint... I hate the tingle so I avoid them like the plague.

My favorite is the Syntonics therapy conditioner. I absolutely love that stuff. The tingle and feeling it gives your scalp is intense. I was able to get a bottle for a great price at the Hair Show yesterday

-Dr. Bronner's Hemp-Peppermint Castile Soap [$4-$15 there's a liquid & bar; need a condish after this one IMO]
- Suave Naturals Rosemary-Mint Shampoo/Conditioner [$3 for a large bottle @ Walgreens/Walmart]
