I was looking in the Vitamin Shoppe and I notice they had a few shampoos that I was intersted in trying. So I decided to ask what you ladies thought of the natural shanpoos and conditioners, before I actually purchased one...Thanks in advance!!
I am currently relaxed!!

I'm a fan of Giovanni Direct Shampoos and Leave-Ins. Really like Aubrey Organics conditioners.....but hate their shampoos...too drying for my natural hair and my hair matted while shampooing.

I agree with Ebonybee entirely on the giovanni and aubrey

i use to use avalon organics BIOTIN thickninng shampoo.. i loved it! i have NO idea why i ever switched off of it. i have that problem where i do a regimen and my hair comes out beautiful.. but i still end up trying something new the next week and being upset but never go back to what my hair liked... but that was before lhcf.. n now im trying to keep a hair journal of the products that i use.... but avalon is really good!! u can get that in the organic aisles of the grocery stores and at organic shoppes i believe.

Ingredients Violet and orange scented shampoo nourishes mistreated hair back to health
If you've wrecked your hair but don't have time for a full-on hair treatment, reach for triple-strength Retread. Softening cantaloupe, protein-packed yogurt, and strengthening jojoba and olive oils give your hair a healthy helping of conditioning and scent it with violets and oranges. You'll want to leave this in for just a little while longer than most other conditioners (say up to five minutes) for maximum benefit.

Trader Joes Nourish Spa shampoo and conditioner are chock full of good ingredients and $3 a piece- you really can't go wrong.

Here are the ingredients listed on the website for LUSH. I'm no natural product expert, but I think they use the term "natural" a little loosely for this product. It not only has Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, but parabens too. And they have the nerve to call these "safe synthetics":nono:

I have reviews for three great shampoos from JASON, one from Burt's Bees, and one from Aveda's Be Curly line in my Drugstore and Salon Product Review Fotki's.

I love the Lamas Chinese Herb Stimulating Shampoo and the Lamas Wheat grass Deep Cleaning Shampoo. I purchase them from Whole Foods or Central Market.

They are gentle enough for me to use with my scalp psoriasis and my alopecia. They don't agitate the areas where I am getting steroid shots. They are a very gentle non-prescription solution to my scalp concerns. I was using them prior to my scalp concerns. A little goes a long way.

I just started using burts bees rasberry and brazil nut shampoo and i like it :). I havent tried any other natural shampoos yet but this ones makes my hair pretty soft ( more noticable after i condition ).
