hi ladies,

so i bought a bottle of mixed chicks leave in conditioner. but then i read some of the responses on the board regarding this product. some say it's gives that crunchy feeling to the hair after it air dries. true story??

also, in my research in the archives, some genius person on this board said that there were certain ingredients to look for (water first, glycerin...uh....) and then some to stay away from that coat the hair... i can't find the posting anymore but if anyone knows, please share!

so, for the purpose of air drying, please list your favorite leave in moisturizer.

thanks.

Yeah, I tried the Mixed Chicks Leave in. Nothing to write home about, in my opinion. Didn't give me crunchy hair, but I just felt like it didn't bring anything to the table for my hair type. It just kinda sat on my hair. Maybe that was its purpose - to coat or seal the hair.

For me, I like a leave-in to make my hair feel soft. I love Paul Mitchell The Conditioner. It's water based.

oh good to hear another person who didn't like the Mixed Chicks Leave In. you're hair is gorgeous, btw! envious over here!! :)

I have several loves
* SHEAMOISTURE leave in
* Anita Grants curly cafe late
* Herbal essances fizz fighter

even though I have favourites I'm always on the hunt for more!

I didn't care for mixed chicks leave in for my hair either :/

Now are you looking for "curl defining" styling leave in like Mixed Chicks was or just a moisturizing leave in? Shea Moisture Leave In is very moisturizing!

just moisturizing. i don't want hard hair.:nono:

i went to find PM's The Conditioner but the 2 BSSs i went to didn't have it. so i bought giovanni direct leave in. the lady at the register said she had heard really good things about it. so i am hopeful. i also picked up some Naked Naturals shea butter & avocado smoothing conditioner... it was 7.99 and i was curious. if it's good, i'll report back! :yawn:

I love Herbal Essence Long Term Relationship Leave In... Its my favorite..:grin:

:yep::yep: Can you say WOW!! I used this for the first time last night for my rollerset. I ran some through my wet hair to detangle, then added it to my spray bottle with water.

My curls came out so bouncy, with the perfect balance of moisture!!! Wasn't heavy or greasy. :love::love:

Move over NTM!!! I'm in love with LTR Leave-in!

I'm sure it'll work great for airdrying.
