Looking for the one that, if it was the last bottle/jar/batch on earth and you had to run into a burning building to get it, you just would. (Okay, that's exaggeration but y'all know what I mean.)

Pricey, cheapo, Dominican, Italian, French, Domestic, Homemade -- I don't discriminate so all thoughts are welcomed.

This AM, I got up to do a semi-intense protein treatment with Roux Mendex (because I'm out of Aphogee 2 step and just want something other than Emergencee) and I noticed that my stash is completely out of all moisturizing conditioners. Probably because I'm a major fan of soft protein (I have a mix of yogurt, egg yoks and Salerm Wheat Germ in hair right now). Anyway, in order to do harder proteins, it is pretty essential HHJ 101 that you need to follow up with something deeply moisturizing. I have nothing, zip, nada. So a trip to the BSS or Ulta is in order. Anyone have any suggestions?

The only ones that I have ever really been a fan of are Nexxus Therape and Palmers Coconut Milk Cond. - looking for others.

(Here's what I have tried based on suggestions on here and decided not to repurchase: Kerastase, Aussis 3 Min, Redken Smooth, Aubrey Organics Rose)

Beamodel Do all of these have to be ordered online? I feel like I must be living in a bubble because other than #3, have never seen these on a shelf before.

Yes, they are online handmade conditioners. And someone else posted Belnouvo. It's an online handmade brand too.

Are you only looking for conditioners you can find in the beauty supply store? Or on the ground?

Hair still has soft protein DC in it so, if I could go out and get something now, I was going to wrap it up and hit the BSS. LOL Appreciate all the suggestions though and will probably order one of the recommended handmades on line befor the day is out.

Mixed Chicks Deep Conditioner works very well as does Crecepelo Tratamiento Fitoterapeutico Natural. I haven't used anything else as a Deep Conditioner in over a year. Curl Rehab works great for softening, but I don't know why my hair gets too fluffy from it and it breaks up my curls. Strange.

Rinse-Outs: (in no particular order)
Hairveda Moist 24/7
Silk Dreams Destination Hydration
Jessicurl TooShea!
SSI Avocado
Oyin Handmade Honey Hemp
Curl Junkie Moisture Therapy *discontinued*
Claudie Mango Crème Rinse

Will post DC'ers later.

Starting to see a few repeats. Can anyone tell me how to add a poll? Every time I've ever tried, it just ignore it.

@rawsilk

Go to the Top of Your Thread where it says: "Thread Tools" - then it says Include a Poll.

Then it will give you the parameters an amount of lines (for poll questions) and the number of days you want to keep the Poll open and then you type in your poll questions, enter the number of days and save everything.

And it should save it and post your Poll.

Many thanks -- I'm going to give it until the end of the day and then list top 5. In the meantime, rinsed out the kitchen protein and applied Bamboo Mix. Using heat cap and hoping this isn't too much protein.:perplexed

Rinse Out
Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Daily Treatment (Ulta)
Silk Dreams Destination Hydration (online)

Deep Conditioner
Silk Dreams Vanilla Silk Cream Moisture Dream (online)
Annabelle's Perfect Blends Blueberry Cheesecake Deep Conditioner (online)
Hairveda Sitrinillah (online)

For me, it would be:

Bask Vanilla Whiskey DC
Hairveda Methi Sativa Set
Hairveda Sitrinillah DC (with castor/babassu added)
ORS Replenishing Conditioner
SSI Avocado Conditioner
SSI Banana Brulee DC
SSI Riche Moisture Masque

The protein content in some of the aforementioned conditioners does not aggravate my protein sensitivity. I can use each of these conditioners consistently for several months before showing any signs of protein overload (don't ask how I gained this bit of information:lol:).

For me for the past few months to get my through my transition:

Darcy's pumpkin conditioner (been using this for a few years) always have a bottle on hand
Naturelle grow's deep conditioners. All the ones I've tried from her perform pretty much the same. Off the top of my head id go with the herbal dc and her best seller that has 'marshmallow' in the title somewhere lol.

Sent from my iPhone using LHCF
