Sodium Hydroxide is the 6th (regular-Ok), preferably 7th (mild-better), or 8th (mild-best) ingredient on list.

Silk Element mild: water,petrolatum,mineral oil,cetearyl alcohol,proplygene glycol,ploysorbate 60, Sodium Hydroxide,...
--->work well on my fine hair, tex in 10 min.

relaxer that caused the least damage to my scalp:
first two ingredients were water, aloe

Vitale L&B,old formula:
Deionized water, Aloe Vera, Petroleum, Mineral oil, Emulsifying wax, Peoplylene Glycol, Cetyl Alcohol, Sodium Hydroxide, Laneth-15, PEG-60 Lanolin.
-->Worked great on my fine hair. Very mild, tex in 13 min.
