My mother wants me to dye her gray hair to a dark black color. ,and I have tried everything to cover it up but nothing will take. I tried rinses, semi-permanent dye. I was wondering what dye is best for the job.
How much gray does she have? 100%?
For very gray hair only permanent colors will take completely.
Just remember that dark black hair color can be extremely difficult to get rid of when/if she gets tired of it and wants to go gray again or another lighter color.

Ok, that's less than I have. For me demipermanent colors are good. The ones with two components that you mix, but don't have any ammonia in them. I think you call them demi-permanent in the USA?
