Best DC for color treated hair?

I think finding a DC for color treated hair is similar to finding one for hair w/o chemicals. Trial and error. What works for one, may not work for you

Though there are a number of conditioners labeled for color treated hair. The only difference is that those conditioners are often moisturizing and/or have a bit of protein. Both thing that is needed for color treated hair. You may have a few conditioners on your possession which are already great for your hair. In all actuality, I would stick with the conditioner you are already using that works great. Consider adding a bit of jojoba, castor or olive oil to you current conditioner.

I've been using the Silk Elements Megasilk as well as the Aubrey Oragnics HSR with some oils. The best has always been Alter Ego but its way more pricey out here than it was in NYC

I LOVE the Loreal Feria Color Moisturizing Treatment. This one:

You can find it at Sally's. Actually most of the "after color" moisturizing treatments from Professional hair color lines are pretty darn good, ime.

I like Aubrey Organics Rosa Mosqueta for my hair and the color. You can get at www.vitaglo.com cheaper than anywhere else.

This is what I am currently using, but feel it needs something else. I may cut it with an oil. Do you use heat to DC with it?

I sit under the dryer for five minutes because I can't stand heat on my neck and and then 40 minutes just under Cap and then rinse out but I use roux porosity control so it can penetrate more deeply

I sit under dryer for five minutes and the rest just with cap on because u can't stand heat on my neck but before I apply the conditioner I use roux porosity conditioner which I comb through and let sit for thirty seconds then put conditioner because I feel it penetrates more deeply that way

^^ Thanks ladies. I am probably going to cut the conditioners that I have with oil until I find one that I don't need to mix with an oil. I may need to up my protein too since I am color treated.
