Best BKT for pregnant woman??

I think it would be in your best interest, as well as your little one, to stay away from it all together. You're still inhaling toxic fumes regardless of how powerful the odor is. Also, the toxins are going to be absorbed through your scalp and into your circulatory system, which will then enter that of your little one. So, just to caution you, please stay away. Wish you all the best and a healthy pregnancy!! =)

Honestly, I would avoid it if I could . I've used two different brands that were formaldehyde free when I tried it and fumes were still a bit much!

Maybe someone has had better experiences, Good luck and congrats!

I never tried(yet) it but coppola infusion replenisher is supposed to extend the life of a KT but supossedy works well alone. It seems like it is just a keratin based leavein.

I second trying the infusion. I'm not averse to a bkt in general, but I wouldn't do it while pregnant.

Cosigning with everyone else. I think she should remain chemical free during pregnancy or at least avoid BKT. The formaldehyde free still had formaldehyde and it becomes apparent once heated.
