and purchase Nexus Emergencee, is there anyone who DESPISES Emergencee? I mean, if it's pricier and has some terrible drawbacks (which I couldn't fathom being worse that having sticky, gooey, ooze running down your face and neck), than I'll just stick with Aphogee for hardcore treatment...

I don't DESPISE Emergencee, its just that Aphogee was just more effective on my hair. I used Nexxus for a few months and the results werent consistent.

I 've not used Emergencee with any degree of consistency to be able to advise but there's got to be something better than the Aphogee.

Am I correct in thinking that there is something in the Nexxus line that is stronger than the Emergencee as a reconstructor?

well..if you ever want to spare your trash can and ship that bottle of aphogee elswhere...feel free to donate to the BLF (broke Lauren fund) :lachen:

well, tonight I tried Emergencee for the first time. I washed with CON, then used the Emergencee. I sat under the hair dryer for like 30 minutes( I was watching American Idol and got distracted :) ) and then I washed it out...shampooed again with my Sap Moss shampoo, and then used NTM DDC.

I am 11 weeks post relaxer with a head the size of the moon because of the new growth...this made my hair like BUTTER. For once, I had almost no hairs in my comb , even the new growth had slip (I am mostly 4a, but the MSM has made it alot more wiry than that!)

Now, I didnt do the second shampoo and condiitoner afterwards with teh Aphogee, so that could very well be the difference. I will try it next time and see. But the first time I used Aphogee it made my hair hard - with way less new growth. So, just my .02. I think I can stretch another week or two , the way my hair feels tonight! yay!

Wegmans is too far for my desperation right now. Where is everyone getting their Emergencee? Does Sally's carry it?

The Beauty Center in Herndon has it, or you can call around to different salons, maybe they'd sell it to you.

I don't go that way very much but I'll definitely mapquest it. Thanks. I guess until I find it, I'll finish using the Aphogee since I have nothing else. Maybe I can contribute to the BLF another time...*WINK*

I bought a bottle of Emergencee on yesterday. I plan on trying it soon. If it is better than aphogee(for me), I will make you a donation. Emergencee better be good, I paid $14 for a little bottle.

EMERGENCEE is great for my hair. I did an EMERGENCEE treatment recently and really loved the results. I have been getting so many compliments on the health and thickness of my hair. I am planning to invest in the xtra large bottle of EMERGENCEE that they sell at the BSS near me. ( Right now I have the little bottle $14 )
