I saw on another site that beeswax and candellia wax build up on the hair, can be difficult to remove, and cause frizz. It put it in the same category as petrolatum. Now I avoid products with petrolatum in it, but I never knew anything about waxes. What has been your experience with products with beeswax or candellia wax?

Some of my stylers contain one or the other and I haven't had any issue with build up. I'm not sure what percentage of wax was used so maybe that might be a factor.

I have some KBB products that I haven't tried yet that have vegetable wax in it. I wonder if works the same as these waxes.

My hair doesn't like products with waxes in them. Beeswax, castor wax, calendula wax, all dry it out. I've actually read the same thing.

But some people can use them with no problem. I know any styler that has those waxes in there do my hair no good.
