It is there catalog Item #72(LR-08). They emailed me a picture of it. But I have no idea how to post it here. Anyone know how?? Anyway, it is a portable one that you can sit on your table. It looks alot like a table top hair dryer.
YESSSSSSSSSS...............I AM A PJ I admit it ....I claim it and I embrace it....THIS STEAMER IS THE BOMB!!!!! I've used it 2 time since asking about it....These people are really nice and helpful....well, the guy that helped me I should say! Edmund is his name!!! I LOVE it...it feels like I'm in the salon...
This second time ( last night) I used it turned out really nice and silky for me...
Highly rec if you are looking for a small, "inexpensive" steamer
AND it doubles as a facial steamer ( but I haven't used it like this.....kinda sprays the steam in your face/ at least that's what I saw in the showroom.
I went ahead and ordered it. I have not used it on my hair, but I did use it on my daugter's hair. It works real well. So if you do not want to spend alot of money on one, this one is only $78.00. I did not realize that it is also a facial steamer.
yeah, i purchased it a while back in November '03....I would recommend it to anyone who would like to steam their hair at home. Moist steam allows the conditioner to penetrate the hair and scalp better while keeping all of the moisture in....I picked my up from the store in Chinatown. yes, the people there are nice and very helpful.
Can someone post a picture of this 78.00 wonder steamer? My mother is going to NYC and I'd like her to pick one up for me and have my aunt ship it. So I need a printout of what it looks like...thanks.
ccd: I must admit I do not use it much because right after i bought it, my stylist bought a steamer for her shop....I go under her steamer once a week. It is soothing to the scalp...I can acutally feel my scalp opening up.......
oh not at all. I had to get a bag from a nearby store though, they didn't have a bag big enough for it. It's about the size of a table top dryer box, if you know how that looks.
Cool, I will bring my own bag then. That size if good, Iwas worried about having to take a cab back home whihc would defeat the point of not having it shipped.

Thanks for your answer, I guess I'll try using a bag.

OGLORIOUS, are you thinking of buying the hair steamer? the response about the bag was to CUTEBAJAN, and her question about how heavy the item is....... and your question about the facial steamer is marked with your quote........I just thought I should clarify the responses, it looked like it could be confusing.
Why don't you answer my question directly then, can you use a facial steamer to do the same thing? Because I was about to use a bag to steam my hair....
