It IS looooooong! Interesting website--thanks for sharing.

I wonder if longhair is really important in their culture because they have a free matchmaking service but your hair has to be at least waist length...

Okay, it is pretty and healthy looking, but that is an insane amount of hair!!

Very beautiful hair, thanks for the link Atahar. Anyone here growing their hair to knee length, by any chance?

I was thinking the same thing. Upkeeping all that hair could be equated to a part time job.

I'm trying. I don't know when I will get there though, maybe in a couple of years. If I start taking vitamins, that might help.

Does anyone know how those ladies grew their hair so long? Vitamins, oils, pills, etc??? I would love to know how they care for it.

That is what I noticed too. Very pretty!

Wow! Absolutely gorgeous!

Cultural aspects aside, they don't use chemicals or heat do they? It would be virtually impossible for your hair to become damaged not using either of those, so unless they actually just wanted their hair to be shorter, there would be no reason to cut it.

I can't imagine taking care of all of that though. Washing and conditioning alone would be a chore, forget about actually trying to style it.

I know from my Indian friends that there is an entire industry around taking care of their hair. During this hair journey, one of my friends has given me a lot of advice and told me some of the things that they do, such as oiling the hair. I am begining to suspect that Amla oil is just the beginning.

All i have to say is,.....I am not way near those girls...they are off the chain with that hair. I want long hair but not one that stops me for doing my business.....feel me.
