Can you believe that someone with a license to do hair could say something so silly, or is it just me. I thought that once the bonds in the hair are broken, that was it. So, how can ACV restore those bonds? That has to be one of the sillyiest things that I have ever heard. So, I am gonna keep on using the ACV rinse and look for another beautician. The ACV rinse is an outstanding remedy for this hard water in Germany. It helps keep those calcium deposits from building up and causing my hair to break.

Shana you are absolutely right. you can tell your hairdresser that if you ACV reverts your hair, then so do many of the products that are marketed towarded balancing our hair's PH level. Some of the top salon products do this. Keracre, L'anza, nexxus are a few that come to mind. Keep doing your ACV rinses girl. when I was in germany, that water tore my hair up. I ended up cutting it all off.

She most likely does not know much about hair health. Styling unfortunately is the main focus of cosmetology now. They don't teach the students enough about hair health.

This sounds like a very misinformed beautician. But good luck finding one who is really educated about hair anatomy and chemistry. I think a lot of them want to keep us in the dark and keep us dependent on them. That's why I'm so glad to have full control over my own haircare, and I encourage everyone else to do likewise.
In my opinion, going to a salon ought to be a special treat, rather than a necessity. And for too many women, it's the latter.
