I got my hair relaxed about 2-3 months ago. My hair is really damaged and i can see that some of the split ends come up to the little NG that I have. I just want to cut it off but I am not sure if it would be a good idea. I have the most new growth at the crown (1 inch and some change:) but the perimeter seem to be coming in slower and is still kinda straight/stringy. Should i just go ahead and cut it off now since its so damaged and fried or should I just wait a few more months? My plan was to just keep trimming all the relaxed hair off but Im worried that the split ends will damage the new hair and I am also concerned that I will have all these freaky textures in my hair if I cut now :( What do you think?

Transitioning is hard enough. Transitioning with damaged hair :nono: I would just bc.
