BBD Glass & Stretch

I had the opportunity to try Glass on my natural hair and it was HORRIBLE!!!!!

It really made my hair coil up and the shrinkage was out of this world (my natural hair dries in "S" curls and doesn't coil)! And my hair was so hard! And it sort of flaked.

Yuck. Hate it. I think it has protein in it or something. /images/graemlins/mad.gif

I use BBD Glass when I want a shorter look to my hair. BLKMANE is correct it does leave major shrinkage. I notice if you use a little, your hair won't dry up as much & it will not have a flaky feel to it.

The downside of BBD Glass is the cost, $20.00 a jar & the stretch is $45.00 a jar. Honestly, I think you can find other products that work just as good for a lot less.

All in all, I do like BBD Glass.

Thanks Blkmane and Sindeee,

This was one of those products I was also curious about because of all the raves I had been hearing from other naturals. It has protein in it? That's not good for everyday use.

Ouch /images/graemlins/frown.gif , Blkmane that does not sound good. Is Black n' Sassy a possible replacement for BBD Glass? Some srinkage is acceptable and expected but...

Sindeee, what products do you think are worthy replacements?

By the way what is BBD Glass really? I have "heard" so much talk about it from curve salons vists and on naturallycurly.com but no idea of what it is-conditioner or finishing product or both?

Thanks...

If you are looking for something to enhance your curls, then, YES, BnS Creamy Set is a good replacement for Glass.
