Has anyone ever tried this moisturizer? It is pink and I like it a lot. I have used it for a minute and it leaves no build up or anything. I am THINKING of trying just castor oil on my hair.
Can u buy castor oil from Whole Foods or is there a better place?
I've never tried it. I've used Tropic Isle jamaican black castor oil and palma christi oil (jamaicaplace.com) on my hairline before. IMO, castor oil is too thick and sticky to put all over your head...
The BB moisturizer is nice. I've used it before. It's a little too light for my hair... Kmart usually sells it in a '2 for 1' pack.
I was also thinking of getting the BB, but then I noticed that it had protein in it. I don't want to use a moisturizer that has protein.
I think you can easily find the pure castor oil in any health food store.
The one I prefer is the one that has a light brown color from either Haiti, Dominican Republic, or Jamaica. The other colorless ones might be good too, but I never tried them.
I use castor oil frequently all over my hair (with conditioner and gel) or added to conditioner for a more moisturizing treatment. Love it and it's very cheap. I buy the Now Foods brand for about $3.50 for 16 0z. http://shop.store.yahoo.com/hono/nowcaoiexpr1.html
It may be heavy for some, but perfect for me. I love the shine it produces and hair doesn't dry out.
i like the bb castor oil lotion also. it's moisturizing and along witht the s curl activator my hair feels wonderful. i dont care for the little jar , claming to have more casor oil in it. it is very gresasy and not moisturizing.
