Hey can anyone explain this to me, I normally give my sister her relaxers, and I wanna try this on her. Is it vaseline all over the scalp or just the edges?

I base my whole scalp and not just the edges. That way my whole scalp is protected and I can feel a bit more comfortable during the relaxing process.

When I was relaxing I used this on my scalp, around my hairline and the tops of my ears. I applied it all over like I was doing an old fashoined scalp greasin'.

I also coated my previously relaxed hair with something heavy like Burt's Bees Avocado Butter or regular hair grease just in case I overlapped the relaxer...

What has helped me is about 2 or 3 days before getting the touch-up, I grease my scalp with Hollywood Beauty Castor Oil. I make sure to put enough on the scalp. I've done this my last past 2 touch-ups, and both times, I've experienced no burning whatsoever. And generally, I would suffer from burning regardless of whether I would scratch a lot or not because I have sensitive scalp.
