BASIC HAIR PROCEDURES

Hello All,

Just had an idea that will help all of us.

why do we not have one main thread that has all the hair how tos, for e.g, how to do a hot oil treatment, how to do a conditioner wash, etc.
This will make it easier for us to just go to one thread and access this information.An example is the LHCF pictures thread. We take for granted that something may be very easy to do, ie a deep condition but if the actual steps to do it are given it may be helpful to someone how does not have a clue.This thread will also be helpful for newbies wanting to know certain hair care routines.

I remember not long there someone posted how they do a roller set with a diagram. This was very helpful.

ITA. I was explaining the ponytail method to my cousin. I took for granted that she knew to tie a scarf around her head.

Here's one as far as styles, trimming, etc.

See, i did not know that you tie a scarf too.

Ok, i learnt something new today.

Her hair isn't relaxed. So the scarf is necessary to keep her hair flat. Unless you have a lot of new growth, the scarf may not be needed.

Actually, there is a "how to" thread somewhere on the board
