I recently tried to do a bantu knot out and it just came out terrible, so I turned it into a "down 'do" ...

Ummmm, your down-do is what's up! It's super cute and your hair is your siggy is fab, honey.

well u did a good job with your plan B.

bantu knots are tricky. that's why i never do them. i wanted to wait til i got a lil more length like yours. that way if it turns out horrible...i can do something else with it. it's harder when u have short hair

I love the look of Bantu Knots, but my length will not allow it yet. I think you did a great jo saving the style though.

That is a really cute style. I can't wait until my hair gets long enough to do that without stretching it out first.

How many knots did you do? It doesn't look like you did very many. I have to do 12-15 for every part to be curled in a consistent way. But I love my bantu knot outs, they're the only style I can do on my hair that looks good aside from a puff.

Thanks guys! Yes, I used bobby pins to secure the two twists on both sides and then some of the hair in the center. & thanks for the siggy pic love. :-)

That style is so cute. When my bantu knot-out went wrong I just put my hair in a ponytail. Your choice was WAY better.
