Hi I have newish bangs(2 weeks) and they are not staying in place. Like today, it was windy and this thing would get blown(sexy eh...NOT), stick up and STAY like that. I washed and flat ironed today so im not sure what to do. I asked the chicks on a white board and they said hair spray but I was wondering what YOU guys use?

For my bangs, getting them to lay flat was all in how I dried them. I have a Conair Infinity Hair Designer Hot Air Styler (long name, I know) (check here: http://infiniti.conair.com/catalog.php?pcID=48&products_id=165) that I used to dry them from the top going forward (if that makes sense) that worked wonders.

If I couldn't get to my styler, however, airdrying my hair until about 75% dry, then carefully drying bangs with a round brush with the heat directed down the hair shaft and a tiny amount of CHI Silk Infusion for shine/weight (which you need to keep the bangs lying right) worked just as well. I also have found that this method leads to more manageable bangs, so that if they do get tussled in the wind, all that's needed is a quick comb through with a wide toothed comb and they're back to normal.

Hope that helps!

I apply leave-in to my whole head of hair when it's wet, including my bangs, but once they're dry, I never apply any product to them so that they stay light. I flat iron them daily (not trying to grow them out or anything) and give them regular trims. For me that's what works.
