Hello ladies,

I am curious about what some of you are using when you baggy your ends. I use various concoctions of leave-ins like Mermade, TIGI Bed Head, Olive Oil, KeraCare Humecto and I just wondered what some of you all are using. Also would like to know how long did you baggy before you noticed a difference in the way your ends looked.

WHen I baggy, I use a topical growth agent on the scalp (like MTG or M.N.) Then I saturate the ends with ORS Olive Oil.... and seal with any oil (nothing expensive or fancy). Then I bun, put on a shower cap, then a satin bonnet..... and sleep this way.

Ive been doing this for the past year...... my ends and overall hair definitely looks better, but i also attribute that to wearing a protective style most days. It doesnt really allow my ends to break.

I dampen my ends with a little water. I then put Qhemet Heavy Cream & WGO on my ends. I put a couple more drops of WGO in the bag.

ETA- I noticed an IMMEDIATE difference in my ends after using the baggies one time. I then decided to make this a permanent mainstay and see how much length I retain in 6 mos to 1 yrsince my ends won't be so dry and rough anymore.

OT: my question is after you do the baggy what do you do with your hair the next day? It has to be in a bun or so other style like that because you can't wear it down right?

Yeah pretty much. But honestly it is up to that person how they want to wear it the following day. I think most may end up wearing a protective style the next day. I take off my baggies in the a.m and put my hair in a knot to keep the ends from drying out.
