Im just curious...i new to this website and i wanted to know exactly what is baggy and how does it help your growth rate?

A baggy is a protective style you can wear on ur head: most baggiers put their hair in a ponytail and saturate it w/ a moisturizer and seal it w/ an oil covering it w/ a sandwhich bag & bonnet or a bun cover:
this doesn't effect my growth rate from my scalp: it helps me retain the length of my hair: since my hair is baggied: since my hair is moistured & there's no need for me to comb my hair thus my ends shouldn't be breaking off: check out "Darkempress" she does a full head baggy: she went from Neck length in Jan to APL now in June: she may even be at Bra Strap Length when she updates us on her progress. ~HTH~

I like to sleep with my hair baggied because of the moisture factor. It helps to keep my hair soft and reduces breakage.
I just BT'ed and moisturized the ends.............. and now i have on a plastic grocery bag and tight knit cap (ie, a winter skully) to go to sleep.
(I stopped buying plastic caps long ago because Im just too cheap).

Is anyone's SO/DH having a prblem with theit baggying? Mine wants to know what's going on with my "Aunt Jemima" scarf? He doesn't understand my struggle.
