I think this one is definitely a keeper. I started to break out from the Country Life Maxi Hair and then started with the B-5 and I'm literally glowing...I also was redoing some of my braids the other day and noticed some pretty thick new growth, especially compared to the rest of the length. Egads. I'll be on this stuff for fifty years trying to get it all to be this thick! The "glow" is working for me though... /images/graemlins/smile.gif

That's great! That's another one that I wanted to try, but I don't really want my hair to be thicker. However, I have noticed that my hair is less bulky when I wear it straight since I've been on no poo, so thicker hair might be ok.

dumb question but what does glow mean? /images/graemlins/confused.gifdoes it mean you look shiny or greasy or just not matte? i know a lot of people say someone is glowing i just always thought it was that their face didnt look dull. i never really knew what exactly it meant. God bless you alll.

CurlyCrly,

Azul,
What I meant by "glow" is that my skin is not only clear, but very radiant. It looks brighter and healthier. Does that help? Definitely not greasy though, so don't worry! /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Is the only side effect of b-5 besides thicker hair is glowing skin? does the other hair on your body get thicker too? God bless you all.

Just chipping in to say that I've already noticed that my hair is thicker since taking B5. I've been taking it for a good 2/3 months now. When I got my last t/u , my hair wasn't as flat on my head as it usually is. Its still flat but I don't have that 'bald' feeling. Can't explain. I just have thicker hair

I'm really really pleased. I did a rollarset 2 days ago and someone at work the day after said my hair looked 'nice and thick' which is something I've not heard said to me since I wore braids growing up! Its not a wowza difference, but enough for me to know its not my imagination.

A def. keeper vitamin for me.

I'm so glad that the B-5 is working for you! My skin has cleared up greatly since taking it, and thicker hair is just a bonus IMO

Leshia,

Are you using country life b-5 (if they make it) or another brand?

[/ QUOTE ]

Sorry, Curly, never saw this. If you're still interested, I'm using the Twinlab brand.

Leshia how much of the B-5 are you taking each day? Are you still taking the Country Life vitamins too? How long did you take it before your skin cleared up? I just got some B-5 last week and this really sounds encouraging. I'm hoping it will help clear up my skin as well.

I like to add that I have had good results with B5 also.
I have been taking it for 8 months and my hair is thicker
than it use to be.

Thanks Tracy.
HHmmm. I am just taking 200% of the RDA. I'm in the vitamin challenge. I'll see if this makes an impact. Thanks Again

Question..when you take a B-Vitamin, such as B5 do you have to also take a B-complex for maximum benefits?

nope! I don't. never have. But I've considered it. maybe that'll be my next vitamin challenge!
