well ayur is an ok company. it is not one of the best "ayurvedic" company out there. also they use sulfates SLS/SLES in their shampoos. Try their natural hair wash w/ amla and shikakai. or if you can find Meera Gold hair wash powder. this is better for your hair. As sulfates dry out and strip your hair of its natural oils

I just bought the Ayur Coconut Shampoo, but havent tried it yet. I dont like the fact that there arent any ingredients listed. It says that is pH balanced and that is natural. So you mean to tell me it has sulfates in it ?

yes it does have sulfates... now sulfates work for some ppl if you prefer not to use them.. this is not for you. Now if you don't want to use the hair powders opt for a non sulfate shampoo like Jason's.

Thank you. I have 4B natural and it did feel kind of dry after washing it. look:

I put the vataiki on it while it was damp tied it and wne to bed. This morning it felt kind of dry.

Darn! How lond go I have to experiment before getting it down.

has anyone heard of aritha powder? i bought a box because i heard about washing the body with soapnuts, but i wanted to know how it would do on my hair before trying it (i'm trying to save the little bit i've got! lol!)

I think I'm in the 4 category but I am relaxed and I use this poo along with the gro aut poo. I saturate my hair before hand with either coconut and bhringraj oil or my other prepoo stuff and it feels fine. It's far better than the shikakai bar but even that felt better after I did a good prepoo. So maybe try again after a prepoo.

I used this poo the other day and it was way too drying for my 4a/b hair. I did not like it at all.
