I know about Vatika, has anyone tried their shampoos?
I know about Afro / Hair Veda.
Does anyone know anymore?

Great thread op! These are the ones that I know of, too. Unfortunately, I have not tried any of their products. Would love to hear of other ayurvedic lines though.....bumping for you!

Chagrin Valley Soap and Craft have a wonderful Ayurvedic Herbal Shampoo bar. It is organic and all natural. I use it as a moisturizing shampoo in conjunction with my clarifying shampoo. This does cleanse buildup really well at the same time, moisturizes.

Yep I have the chagrin valley ayurvedic poo bar but it's mega drying for my hair after I dc it feels better but looking for bottled shampoos, conditioners, oils etc
Poo bars are really rough on my hair even with a filter

I've just purchased Afroveda's cocolatte moisture mask butter and I've been using it on my hair and my two year old daughters hair for about 4 days now. The jury is still out, but here is what I've noticed: excellent smell, a little goes along way, very moisturizing, took a long time to be delivered about 3 1/2 weeks. When I say a little goes a long way, I mean it. After I cold rinse, I apply my leave in and then the butter to seal. If I use too much my hair is crunchy when it dries, however this product does provide hold; so if you don't mind one day of crunchy and you twist or coil, your style will still be there the next day with just a little need for refreshing. If I use just the right amount, I get these incredibly soft, pliable curls. I like it so far. They also sent me a sample of purr whipped gelly. It smelled like cake batter. Yummy! I think I'm going to try some other products by them, if I still like them after about another 2 weeks.
