AYURVEDA ladies: Can you use a paste as a pre poo?

I would like to make a paste using Hibiscus powder but I am lost. Can I use this a pre-poo??
and how do I make a paste??

Generally oil is used as a prepoo for the paste..... The paste is usually made by mixing the powders with water, oil, cond. The other ingredients besides water help with moisture & ease of rinsing. I've gotten to the point where I don't use water at all, just cond. to my my Ayurvedic powders, It's sorta like a conditioning mud pack.HTH

I like to mix a tablespoon of Hibiscus powder with henna for a deep condition.
