Does anyone here use this?
Would you mind sharing your experience with it?
I'm looking for a great moisturizing avacado butter because my hair drinks up everything I put on it immediately. :spinning:
Thanx

I don't use that but I know a couple of members do. I use avocado butter from oilsbynature.com. I love it for sealing in moisture and pre-pooing. It makes my 3c/4a hair very soft and works even better with my grandmother's 4b hair. There was a big avocado butter bandwagon a while back so a search might find you some pretty good threads on it.

Here's what I use http://www.oilsbynature.com/products/avocado-butter.htm

I get my avocado butter from oilsbynature.com as well. It is a staple for me. IMO it is too good to rinse out of my hair, so I use it for moisturizing/sealing. It is true a little goes a long way. I have put mine away and just used some today as it is finally starting to get cold here. I use avocado oil in my deep conditioners. This winter I could see adding a little to my deep conditioners if my hair starts tripping. I tried the burt's bees treatment when I was natural and it made my hair dry and hard. May be worth a revisit.

Thanks, I'll check it out!
I currently use shea butter, but it's just so hard.
Is that the pre-poo treatment w/ rosemary nettles? If so I just ordered some. Hopefully it's good.
I'm not sure, it's a picture I found. It appears to be a creme treatment. I seek super moisture.

     Avocado butter, I'm a natural 4B and it makes my hair feel succulent :yep: A little goes a long way. It's great for sealing in moisture or alone.
That's good to know because it sounds like just what I need.
I ordered mine from Oils by Nature, great service and fast shipping
Thanks, I'm going to go there. I assume since it's mentioned here a few times that they are reliable.
Thank you.

Too good to rinse out? Hmmm....I wash every MWF, so I wonder.
It's good that a little goes a long way 'cause my hair needs a LOT of moisture. By the end of the night, you'd think I'd never put anything moisturizing on it.
What was it in the Burt's that made your hair dry. I thought that the ingredients were natural.

BTW, while we are on the subject of moisture and such, what do any of you recommend for hair that feels stripped after shampooing?
A product with avocado butter would be nice. :yep:
I use Giovanni Leave-in, etc. and the Aubrey line of products, but I'm transitioning from Aubrey because it's not moisturizing enough anymore.

I don't know what it was, but i remember it made my hair kinda "seize up" and really coated my hair. It was difficult to wash out. I now know that my hair doesn't tend to like too much protein and some vegetable proteins can be a bit too much.
