Avocado Butter Question

soooooooooooo i got my butter and i'm very surprised to find that it's VERY runny... is that the norm?... does it eventually "set"?...

It must have melted. The Avocado Butter that I got from FNWL is a soft butter, not runny. Just let it cool off and see what it does.

The butter I got from Oils by Nature was soft butter as well (and a little gritty)

Yeah, maybe it needs to cool because it was melted. Mine is soft and I haven't found that it is gritty at all. Good batch? Hope you love it!

i got mine from The Chemistry Store... so i think i'm going to put it in the fridge for a little while... i definitely want a firmer consistency for my test run...

eta: i had to put it in some gladware since it came to me in a ziploc bag... lol... that sorta freaked me out when i opened the box... for some reason i expected it to be in a jar...
