My hair is falling in love with Aveda DR  my pocketbook hates Aveda DR  There is a serious war going on. I am also going to figure out how I can afford the Smooth Infusion line for my daughter's hair :scratchch because it's a very sad day in our house on wash day when it comes to detangling.

I've also hitched a ride on this bandwagon! I abosolutely love the Aveda DR line. I've been using the shampoo on intensive condish this past week and my hair loves it. I still get painful flashbacks though when the lady told me as I was cashing out 'That will be $130.00". I was like for what? The Sap Moss pre-poo, DR Poo and Condish? Price aside, this ish works!

Than you so much!

I wonder if that sodium methyl cocoyl taurate is the cousin of SLS?

It sounds like it's in the surfactant family, but the harsh ones are sodium Lauryl (sulfate), ammonium lauryl and ammonium laureth. Even sodium laureth sulfate is not as harsh as the others.
