Design Essentials STS must be cutting to far into Avalon's profits, because now they have their own version called Texture Release. However, I'm unable to find any info about the product on Avalon's site.

I wonder how long, before Mizani/Loreal gets in the SKT game!

This is going to be popular, as so many people love Affirm and Keracare products, and they have a good reputation(when used correctly). I honestly thought they would have beat Design Essentials to the punch with the curl elongation system.

No, Avalon is owned by Dr. Syed, he's an Indian. I heard a rumor that he's married to a Sistah, but I haven't been able to substantiate that claim. He also owns As I Am.
