What do you plan on purchasing this month for your hair? Here's my list:

[]Wooden 100% Boar's Bristle Brush
[]Lotus Powder Plus and or Neutral Henna
[]Hair Steamer
[]Bulk of Unrefined Shea Butter
[]Unrefined Jojoba and Coconut Oil
[]Tropical Dominician Conditioners
[]100% Human Hair Wig (curly style) ..for the colder months ahead

1. a shower filter
2. bone combs
3. probably some scarfs for headbands--someone had a great idea of buying material from fabric stores to make your own. MUCH cheaper!
4. maybe a phony pony for the baggie method-when school starts this will be easy to do since Ill be on the go a lot
 
1. I've purchased a membership for LHCF (I just couldn't stay away...lol)
2. Shea, olive, mango, cocoa butters (for some recipes I plan to try)
3. Jojoba, amla, brahmi oils (also for home recipes)
4. A variety of essential oils (y'all get where I'm goin with this)

NO NEW COMMERCIAL PRODUCTS.....
 
1. More Dominican products from the BSS up the street from me.
2. Nexxus products and Kenra conditioner from Tradesecrets.
3. Burt's Bee Avocado treatment.(If I can find it)
4.More honey and olive oil.

Just wanted to say that I really love this board and I'm learning alot...thanks! I wouldn't have ever known S-Curl is used for moisturizing braids-I haven't seen a bottle of S-Curl since the 80's

Being the product junkie that I am... I am getting some Joico K Pak Serum.. just to have it even though I am getting my hair braided.

I am getting some more Surge HR 14 to use on my braids.
Sulfer 8 braid spray.

This girl is shooting for some Christmas growth.

Do you shop on eBay? If so, someone on their sells some inexpensive Bone Combs.

regina, I do but I couldnt find any there...what did u search under? I lose combs all the time plus Id like all different sizes so let me know!

I did pick up a few on sale on another site and all came to about $20, which wasnt as expensive as hairsense.com. Some of them were $12 each, I got mine fore 5 and 6...
 
These aren't for August, but whenever I get some money.
