My coworker has an allergy to shellfish and read that the AOGPB conditioner has protein from oysters in it. Has anyone with a shellfish allergy used GPB before?

I didn't know this! My DD has shellfish allergies and I have used this on her with no problems. She so far has had reactions only if she actually ingested her allergens. I can cook and eat them right next to her (as long as there is no cross contamination). I do know of people that can't even be in the house if you are cooking whatever they're allergic to, so it probably depends on how severe the allergy is and what the actual trigger is.

Dayjoy. Thank you. I told her that if she didn't want to buy it, I would let her try some of mine and just to make sure her epipen is locked and loaded

I'm not sure if it contains shellfish or a shellfish derivative although the ingredients don't list any as far as I can tell. I do know it contains milk proteins (which I have an allergy to) so I steer clear. Depending on how severe an allergy your friend has she can do a patch test on the inside of her elbow.

Thank you. I'll tell her to do a patch test. I'm not sure where she read this at. I looked through the ingredients but couldn't tell either way

I did a google search and I did find that people mentioned AOGPB contained by-products of oyster. Test patch it is
