Try it alone, it's good :yep:

It has a healthy shot of protein, but it's mild protein and it is very moisturizing. It has a great protein/moisture balance.

would you compare it to the ors replenishig pak?

Hmmm... I'm not a huge fan of the pak, even though I do think it's okay.

It's similar in the way that it has moisture and protein, but mostly moisture. GPB is way thicker. It has less slip (I add oil). It leaves my hair softer and more thoroughly moisturized than ORS. It's just more "rich" feeling in my hair.

The ors smells better though.

Thanks Neith!

I'll try the GPB with some added oil next time because it was missing that "slip" that I need for my natural hair which is basically a touch of oil.

Maybe I need to add some oil to mine because I am so not impressed, but I want to finish the bottle because it's not cheap.

The AO's just provide phenominal moisture, but it does not provide actual slip, which is something altogether different, it absolutely replenishes the actual moisture balance, maybe add some oil just for slip and detangling purposes or do a cheapie right after just to detangle, but it is Great for moisture, Great! It does not have cones, which provides that slippery feeling, which is actually a plus, but definately thumbs up for actual moisture.

I mix it with coconut oil (to boost the protein) and use it as a prepoo, I then wash & DC with the HSR moisturizing one.

dang.... i can't wait till i run out of some things so i can buy some. you guys make it sound so good. i have a whole list. until then, i'll be shopping my stash.
