I'm thinking of braiding my hair next weekend or the weekend after. Where is the best(cheapest) place that i can get 18" straight yaky 100% human hair? I was on Jamaica Ave the other day an the best price I saw was $19.99. I didn't buy it because I figured there's a better price somewhere. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Anywhere on Flatbush Avenue LOL I haven't bought hair in years so I don't remember but Flatbush has 2 beauty supply and hair shops for every block. In fact, there's a Hair Supply store that only sells hair. It's on Flatbush avenue between Winthrop Street and Parkside Avenue. Try checking in there. While you're at it, come visit me since I live right up the block on Winthrop LOL

Well-it's defintely not the cheapest but I always get my hair from Barbies on Hillside Ave by Merrick. 8 oz will cost you about $120. They custom blend the hair to whatever color you want. The hair is good quality and can be reused. I also heard good things about Lugo's in Brooklyn. My girl's hair was Bangin'!!! She had wet and wavy and the color was like Beyonce's hair- real pretty and it complimented her complexion. Anyway I know that somewhere on Jamaica Ave you can find the hair for $17.99/pack. I once went to my braider and since I couldn't make it to Barbies I bought my hair for $22/pack. She siad I paid too much and that on the Ave I could have gotten it for cheaper. I was in Queens Village at the time. I'm not sure where but I think $17.99 is the cheapest. Good Luck.
