I'll tell my sister to stop by there before she heads to the trains. She can get me some and it will be there in Chicago whenever I come home as trying to take three ounces of stuff with me on the airplane doesn't work out too well sometimes. Hey, I'll be there tomorrow, but won't get downtown at all.

I saw all the people in the Ulta shirts today when I went downtown. It looked open and it was just 11am, but maybe that was only employers. Girl, hush, before all these lurkers run out and buy everything up before I can get down there! I've been waiting for that store to open forever. I think I'll stop by on my way to the theater tonight. Going to see Death Note 2. Man, a true PJ, I don't even know if I like Redken, but the idea of buying a liter of a popular product for $10 is just too much to resist.

OK Here is the skinny on the new Ulta!

I went and stood in line at 3:40. There were HUNDREDS of people in line. But the line actually moved very quickly. They were passing out perfume samples and pamphlets explaining the outline of the four-floor store (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and it had some coupons.

When I got in there it was packed. They were flooding the place with people and a DJ was playing Mario and Rihanna tunes. They are giving out free gifts to the first 1,000 people and they gave out free gift certificates to the first 100.

The free gift had:

Artec Texture Line Texture Spray 2.25 oz.
Ulta Coconut Lime Hand & Body Cream 3 oz.
Ulta Amethyst (a pretty light purple) G.O. Eye Shadow
Kenra Clear Paste .5 oz.

I went through the store like a mad lady looking for the condishes lol!

I asked a worker and found they were on the 3rd floor. As soon as I took the two escalators to the third floor I quickly searched around and saw the Redken. No one was standing by it and I was so excited. I grabbed a liter of the All Soft and Smooth Down and just couldn't believe it.

There was a Caucasian woman standing next to me grabbing bottle after bottle of the Matrix condishes. I just had to check with her to make sure I had the right products for the sale and she confirmed.

I went back down to the first floor and paid. The 2 Redken liters for 9.99 plus my 3.50 off $10 or more coupon gave me a grand total of:


18.17 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


Ladies go check it out. And get there early so you can go get those free gifts!!!

The line to get in was almost gone so it will be a quick in and out for ya ladies

I just gave the texture spray and clear paste to my Caucasian male coworker. He used the spray at his desk and shaped his hair...it looks nice, lol!
